2021 New Year's Resolutions with STU Arts Dance!

Updated: May 16, 2021

Adult Dance School Brussels Belgium

Happy New Year everyone, who's ready to let go of 2020 and have a good 2021!? We all know what 2020 was like and whew was it a wild one! 2020 not only challenged us, but put us on a path that we were all not expecting. One thing it has taught us, it is to be resilient. And while there can be so many obstacles in our way if we are determined enough we will find a way to achieve it and relish in it.

So why is this year different? It’s the year of new perspective. If we have something in mind we are not going to stop after one obstacle (even if it is a massive one). So without further adieu, here are some 2021 Resolutions to reimagine with the help of STU Arts Dance!

1.Getting rid of that holiday weight?

Want to get back into shape after some holiday fun? Christmas was crazy this time around, but one thing is for certain and that’s a plentiful amount of comfort food that has kept us sane ahah. A great way to get into shape is through dance, and while this might not be the first thing on one's mind, dance is a great way to shed off that holiday food and do it in a fun manner! What’s better than getting fit and having fun all in one?! Dancing it out can help you keep up the bright spirit of the holiday’s into the new year!

2. Relieve some of that stress.

Holidays got you a little stressed (especially with Mrs. CoronaVirus sticking around for some Christmas dinner)? Shake off 2020 and start of 2021 with a bang by joining us! Dance has a great way of relieving all of your stresses and worries and allowing you to be in the moment and have fun while doing it! Being able to sing and dance to your favourite songs will get you out of a slump you might be in and get back into things you once loved to do with some classic dance moves like the grape vine and the sprinkler ahah.

3.Reconnect with some friends.

While the holidays are a great way to wind down and relax for a bit, sometimes you miss some familiar faces, so grab a friend and join STU Arts where you will be able to jam it out and have fun with a friend while doing so! Honestly it’s the best way to get fit, create some fun memories and have some great fun! Come join us for classes and workshops where you can shake off all of those 2020 worries and shape 2021 into how you want it!

4. Start off your new found journey!

STU Arts is all about starting new beginnings and enjoying your journey along the way! We strongly believe that everyone can dance and everyone has the ability to learn and enjoy themselves while learning. If you are interested in starting your dancing journey but are too afraid you’re a little late in the game, no worries at all! We got you! Dancing is for everyone and we encourage everyone to try something they love and are interested in doing!

If 2020 taught us anything, it’s to go for it because we are not guaranteed anything if we wait. So sign up for that class and see where it might take you! You’d be surprised how many wonderful things you can gain along the way!

With an absolutely wild year, 2021 offers a light at the end of the tunnel. We may be on a really long journey, but there is hope and with everything that is going on, a great way to just let go and have fun is by dancing it out! If there is one thing that 2020 has taught us, is that life is short and doing something we love will keep us sane and encourage us to keep going. 2021 now allows us to become the best versions of ourselves and do the things you love and join the dance class you have always wanted to join.

So why not dance with us?! Like I said, our motto is Everybody Can Dance, that means you too! Come join us, not only will you be having fun, but you will learn some cool moves to show your friends and family and overtime you will be able to perfect it!

Want to learn more? Check out our classes here for some more information on how to get started! Can't wait to see you jamming out with us!
