STU Arts Dance is an arts organization dedicated to using dance and movement for personal, professional, and community development across various communities in the Brussels Capital Region. Our goal is to utilize our unique pedagogical approach to revolutionize dance and movement in Belgium through engaging movement classes, workshops, performances and curriculums.  Dance Instructors

 

We are currently seeking passionate STU Arts Dance Instructors who are interested in teaching adult classes within our dance school for beginners.  Instructors must have:

  • Previous Dance Experience in styles including (Hip Hop, Heels, Jazz, Ballet, Contemporary, Creative Movement, Stretching, etc)

  • Open to learning the STU Arts Dance Pedagogy

  • Passion for Dance

  • Motivated 

  • Able to work independently

  • Have great organizational skills

  • Be fluent in English and one or both of Belgium's official languages, French or Dutch.

 

Must have at least 3 years of teaching necessary! Paid position. Please send your CV and dance reels to contact@stuartsdance.com if interested.

 Social Media Intern

 

We are currently seeking a STU Arts Dance Intern who is interested in social media management and curation and in learning more about entrepreneurship, arts administration, and has a passion for the arts.  The Intern must be:

  • Motivated

  • Able to work independently

  • A fast learner

  • Creative 

  • Have great organizational skills

  • Be fluent in English (French/dutch a plus),

Tasks include:

  • Capturing Content. When time is of the essence, this person needs to be willing to capture dynamic photos and video suitable for the School of Dance social media channels (still images, vertical filming for reels, boomerangs, etc). They also need to be willing to use their own personal cell phone to do so.

  • Caption Writing. It would be extra helpful if this person was able to write rough drafts of captions to describe the content they are capturing, which includes collecting the names and social handles of the students featured for easy tagging. It’s also important to always request the permission of students to be filmed.

  • Organizing Content: Able to adequately organize and a content calender for all social channels.  Also able to batch content to keep up with the fast-paced nature of social media. 

 

The unpaid internship requires 5 to 10 hours per week and offers free dance classes in exchange for administrative assistance. The intern will be working one-on-one with the founder and creative director.  Please send your CV and a writing sample to contact@stuartsdance.com if interested.
