Fayb is a Burkinabè native dancer. She began developing her craft at an early age, that led her to win the Juste Debout Ragga Dancehall in 2005 and Dancehall Queen of Belgium in 2009. Blending with Hip-hop, Dancehall and Afro-contemporary, she developed her own style.
Fayb dances commercially but also theatrically and collaborated with various companies such as Alesandra Seutin with the project ‘Giant’, Neske Becks with ‘Woman.Life.Song’ over vrouwelijke and Kaladounia from Kaito Winse the piece ‘soleil d’oeuf’. She believes dance is a powerful tool to unlock the potential of the body and the mind as well as, questioning potential of body and mind, as well as, interrogating global geographical challenges.
